Welcome to Phoenix the Dark Empire, Vires Adveho ex Pauci

So much has changed since last year Vargas' power play to be Cardinal of Arizona has failed, leaving him as Archbishop of the Valley of the Sun and while he is still in power he has so many more enemies both with in and with out. In the shadow of Vargas failure a Council was formed. Some say that the Council is hollow with no real power. But those who listen to the Carthians say that the Council will help lessen the pull of the Lancea Santum in the Court.

Currently there is a cold war...did I say war? More of a lingering dislike. No one really likes the LS but they are the so numerous and by far the most martial. But many want to exact revenge. But the city greatly fears LS and the Invictus getting back in bed together. The Invictus are denying any such thought...but still the city is still afraid. The Ordo Dracul have dug in and the Circle of the Crone have retaken all of the AJ and their "Gardeners" have access to the city parks and yes Francesca still claims to be Prince of the ASU district.

The core rulebook for Hunter the Vigil will be released in August, with the five books of its Limited Series coming out one a month for five months. Three of them will be crossover books that focus on the Hunters that deal with a particular one of the Big Three: VtR, WtF and MtA. Without giving anything away beyond what I already have, Hunter the Vigil breaks a lot of the molds and will shatter a lot of expectations as to what a Hunter game can be while at the same time satisfying those same expectations.
