While we have more to do than you can fit into 4 days! Here are some highlights of a few of our special events for 2008.

ConEvents, LLC strives to provide entertainment for our younger gamers. WE DO NOT PROVIDE DAYCARE. However, we try to provide events for our young attendees so you can sit and play some games without worrying about them being bored.		Old West Poker TournamentOld West Poker Tournament
How's your poker? Think you're pretty good? Well come complete in our Texas Hold'em Old West Poker Tournament LARP! Seating IS LIMITED, so sign up now for a shot at being Poker Champ!
Our experienced Dealers will be running a ''Last Man Standing'' Midnight Madness Old West Poker LARP on Friday night!

Talk to Jess Hartley, whos been hard at work on White Wolf's newest game line, which will make its formal debut in August of 2008, however we will have a Sneak peak at ConGames! 2008 in June!!!
We also welcome One World by Night back with a two night LARP.

Martial Arts: DEFENSIVE TRAINING
Today's women need to know how to take care of themselves! Aided by Jesse Foster, Mr. Branum will show our you what to look for and how to be alert to potential attackers.
He will demonstrate and help teach defensive maneuvers that could help save your life!
Come and learn how you can empower yourself with some basic, easy to learn self-defense moves.		Anime / Cosplay Anime / Cosplay
Costume Contest and Dance! How's your costume? Care to go up against some of the hottest costumes in the valley?

Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 we'll be judging the best. Top prize is $100 plus prizes to be named later. Dance to follow from 8:00 - 11:00!

Alternative TrackAlternative Track
In our effort to provide stuff for the whole family, we don't want to forget the non-gamers. We have an entire track to keep you happy and having fun at the Convention: Belly Dancing Lessons, Free Henna Tattoos, Poi Spinning Lession, we will teach you how to create Hair Falls and to fold Origami, just to name a few things you can keep busy with. Then come to our nightly Drum Circle and show off your new skills!		Movie PreviewsMovie Previews
Movie Previews: Come watch Movie Previews and get great promotional material, swag, posters and cool, free stuff! Event will be held Sunday at 10:00 am in the Special Events Room (See Schedule) Get there early to get a good seat!Begun by the late, great Barry Bard, and continued in his memory, we will help to continue the tradition of good times, free stuff and great fun!

Whether you have never touched a brush before or already mastered the arts, we have something for you!

Come drink tea and eat snacks with your fellow Elegant Gothic Lolita friends. We will have discussions about costume making during this party. EGL costume is required for this event.

Build, Donate, Destroy
Attendees may help in the building process using the cards that are donated. They may come and go as they wish, as the event runs 3 days. On Saturday night at 6:15pm, all are invited to help destroy the city, watch the city that takes 3 days to build fall in minutes.		Battle ArenaBattle Arena
Boffer Weapons, Live Steal, Hands and Feet, the Arena has it all, you can watch or join in on some of the events. Get out from behind your table and get the blood flowing. Located in the Exhibitor Hall you cant miss the Battle Arena. Don't make Glondoor mad - check out the Arena!
