Agent Profile

Frank R. Scatoni has worked in book publishing for ten years at Doubleday, Simon & Schuster, and Lebhar-Friedman Books. In his last position, he was responsible for building the publishing list of a new, independent publisher. Having been in the position of acquiring books, he knows what sells and why, and he uses that experience to shape manuscripts and proposals to meet the standards of publishers.

From his experience in New York, Frank established strong relationships with many influential editors at major publishing houses. In addition to having reviewed, acquired, and edited hundreds of manuscripts, Frank is also the author of two pop culture books, "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Say Anything," and two horse racing books, "Finished Lines" and "Saratoga."

Frank will be taking appointments and looking at works of Fiction and Non-Fiction at the conference.
