Mary Sue Seymour enjoys attending conferences where she networks with authors and editors. Some conferences she has attended are Book Expo America in LA, The London Book Fair, Romancing the Rockies in Denver, RWA National in New York City, Denver and Dallas, Put Your Heart in a Book in New Jersey, Christian Booksellers in Orlando, Christian Booksellers in Atlanta, Chesapeake RWA, VA, Star Bright/Star Write in Houston, Novelist's Inc in New York City, Dreaming in Dallas in Dallas, Romantic Times Convention in Toronto and in New York City, Duel of the Delta in Memphis, Step Back in Time in Colonial Williamsburg, Mara in Kansas City, Ottawa RWA conference, Mountain Laurel in Knoxville, TN, Desert Rose in Scottsdale, AZ.

The Seymour Agency was founded by Mary Sue Seymour in 1992. Mary Sue Seymour is a member of the Author's Guild, the AAR, CBA, WGA, RWA. Mary Sue is looking for new clients who write any type of romance including historical, contemporary category, contemporary mainstream, suspense, paranormal, regency, inspirational - basically any type of romance. She is also looking for writers of nonfiction. She wants nonfiction about real life heroes, prescriptive books, cookbooks, and basically any type of nonfiction by credentialed authors. She will read literary novels and Westerns. She is looking for Christian books of any type. She does not handle magazine articles, e-published or self-published books, general novels, children's books, poetry, short stories, New Age and books contradictory to fundamental Christian beliefs.

After graduating from the State University of New York, Mary Sue taught in a public school system for almost fifteen years. While teaching, she completed graduate work at The State University of New York. At the same time, she wrote for national publications such as JUNIOR SCHOLASTIC, THE ARTISTS'S MAGAZINE, THE AMERICAN ARTIST and teaching magazines.

She will be taking agent appointments in the South Ballroom during the conference.
