ICE HOUSE Productions and its subsidiaries are committed to the education, success and encouragement of all of our Arizona students.
At our 2005 ICE Escape, we will be giving $4000 to an Arizona High School Senior to use at the qualifying school of their choice.
**** DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 28TH **** Due to numerous requests, we have chosen to extend the deadline for submission to February 28th, 2005
- Participation in ICE Escape is NOT required to enter and win the Scholarship.
- Scholarship money may be used for Arizona, Out-Of-State, Technical and most other facilities of continuing/higher education.
The rules of the contest are:
1.) This contest is only open to Arizona High School Seniors who will graduate in 2005.
2.) Class Rank is non-applicable. Contest is open to all Arizona High School Seniors.
3.) Student must write a minimum 2500 word original work, not to exceed 3500 words.
4.) Work may be either a fiction or non-fiction work in any genre.
5.) Entries must be typed and printed out, with the exception of electronic submissions. No handwritten entries will be accepted. Electronic submissions will be accepted only through the entry form on this website beginning 6/15/2004 (no separate email submissions).
6.) Student must fill out entry form and attach it to his/her entry. Student must fill out the entire entry form.
7.) Entry forms and attached entries will be assigned identical numbers. Entries will be detached from entry forms before they are judged. Entry will be identified by the matching entry form number. In no other way will the entry being judged have identifying properties.
8.) There is a $10 administration/judging fee to enter.
9.) Entry must be postmarked or submitted online no later than February 28th, 2005.

11.) Scholarship money will be given to the school of student's choice for tuition in student's name.
12.) Scholarship money may be used for Arizona, Out-Of-State, Technical and other qualifying facilities of continuing/higher education.
13.) Student will identify the school of choice when submitting entry.
14.) Scholarship winner must produce valid current identification, showing status as an Arizona High School Senior.
15.) Scholarship winner will be notified by March 10th, 2005.
16.) In the case of a tie, scholarship winner will be selected by an impartial professional in the field of publishing based on content, writing style and creativity.
17.) Scholarship winner will be announced at ICE Escape 2005 Publisher's Convention.
18.) CONEVENTS, LLC will present the scholarship to the school of choice named on the entry form of the scholarship recipient after proof of graduation and admission into the school of choice of the recipient is received and verified.
19.) In the event that the scholarship recipient is unable to attend school of choice, recipient will have until August 1st, 2005 to obtain admission approval into another school of continuing education.
20.) In the event that the student is unable to receive the award (including but not limited to not graduating or being unable to provide admission approval into a school of choice before August 1st, 2005, or any other reason for which student is unable to use the scholarship) CONEVENTS, LLC will award the scholarship to the 1st runner up in the manner set forth for the original winner.
21.) Neither CONEVENTS nor ICE HOUSE Productions takes any responsibility for essays submitted. Essays will not be returned. Essays will be destroyed after the scholarship contest is over.
22.) Neither CONEVENTS nor ICE HOUSE Productions is responsible for lost, illegible, or damaged entries, or entries which have been post-dated after the cut-off date.
23.) Failure to comply with rules or meet qualifying criteria will result in disqualification and forfeiture of fee.
